Enhanced ProGrade Trailering Features
The 2020 Sierra 1500 features an all-new Available Enhanced ProGrade Trailer system that features a segment-first transparent trailer view technology. This industry-leading technology offers up to 15 total available camera views for unrivaled confidence when trailering.
Adaptive Cruise Control – Camera
New to the 2020 Sierra 1500 is available Adaptive Cruise Control – Camera technology for enhanced safety and convenience. This upgraded ACC system leverages a forward-facing camera mounted behind the rearview mirror to monitor traffic ahead and bring the Sierra 1500 to a complete stop.
Upgraded Powertrain Options, CarbonPro™ availability
For the first time, the new 3.0-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel engine will be available from launch on the 2020 Sierra 1500. Additionally, 5.3-liter V8 models will now be available with the 10-speed automatic transmission options. The new CarbonPro™ cargo bed will now be available for the full model year and will be offered for models equipped with the Duramax®.
Enhanced Tech Features
The 2020 Sierra will also see some upgrades to the existing infotainment system. Most notably, the 8-inch diagonal touchscreen display infotainment system will now support SiriusXM™ radio with 360L2 technology.
